The Apprentice and the Tasar!

As a Motor Trade Insider I’ve seen some funny things in my time but, perhaps, one of the most outrageous was what happened with the young apprentice and the Tasar gun! Now that alone should give you a clue as to what actually happened but it went something like this… A customer had brought in a vehicle as a part-exchange and on checking the interior we found, believe it or not, a tasar gun in the glove box! After much excited banter about how it worked and what the punter was actually doing with it we hatched a plan. We offered a young apprentice from the workshop £50 if he would take a jolt from it as we wanted to test it was in full working order. After a little gentle persuasion and showing him the money he eventually agreed. Unfortunately we all (and especially the hapless apprentice) underestimated the power of the thing and a split second after the Tasar was discharged into his body, the poor young lad collapsed in a heap on the forecourt. He’d also wet himself and was unable to move for several minutes. We had to drag him into a cupboard to avoid customers and management seeing him. He eventually recovered (thankfully). I don’t know what he spent the money on but it was certainly well earned whatever it was! And the Tasar gun? Do you know what? I have no idea what happened to it and the customer certainly didn’t contact us to recover it (I wonder why!?)
