Skoda is scrapping VAT on Octavias

Skoda is scrapping VAT on Octavias during December off the back of the Government’s VAT cut to 15%. The deal applies to the L and K models, 4×4 Scout and vRS.
It applies to the list price, options and delivery, meaning savings of up to £3,000 a car.

Although owned by VW it’s interesting to see Skoda going its own way when announcing big discounts like this, not the usual way that Volkswagen do it which is more by dealer offers and financed led packages. Skoda however has come a long way since being able to benefit from the design and technology of its parent company!
