New marketing boss at Renault UK

Congratulations to Phil York who has just been appointed Marketing Director for Renault UK. Mr. York replaces Emmanual Bouvier who has returned to Renault’s head office in Paris, after a little over three years at Renault UK, to take up a new role as brand director for electric vehicles, as the company prepares for its launch of a range of EVs in 2011.

York has spent over ten years with the company in various marketing roles for brands such as Clio, Megane and Scenic and will oversee all of Renault UK’s advertising, direct marketing, product planning, pricing, vehicle distribution, market analysis, strategy and research in his new role.

We wish him luck and, judging by Renault’s UK registration figures, we suspect he’s going to need it.
