Nissan Cube – they probably can’t give them away

It’s not all doom and gloom out there you know. Nissan have announced that they will not be introducing the diesel variant of the simply hideous “Cube” after poor sales of the original petrol example.

Nissan UK had expected to sell up to 2,000 Cubes a year but have ended up selling just 442 so far this year.

With predicted sales in the UK more than 75% down on expected it maybe that the faint hearted can stop having nightmares because they won’t have to look at that many on the road.

Nissan probably need to book the designer of the Cube into rehab and have a re-think. I don’t think we will find many drivers who will be attracted to this monstrosity even with the reported £4k discount being offered by dealers at present.
