A Stirling (Moss) press conference for the WMS Group

Sir Stirling Moss OBE and wife Lady Susie were the guests of honour at the WMS Group’s press conference, on Friday 6th July 2012.

The event which was held at the WMS Group’s head office in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, was attended by over forty guests including journalists from many trade and consumer car publications, and staff from several dealer groups.

The conference was a double celebration, in light of the 2012 British Grand Prix and the first birthday of ‘Safe and Sound’ which Sir Stirling endorses. Sir Stirling Moss who is renowned for his racing career during the 1950’s and 60’s was delighted to be the guest of honour and revelled in the day, giving his views on the impending Grand Prix alongside wife Susie. Sir Stirling even joked that he will have words with Jenson Button the next time he sees him, to discuss why the British star is yet to win on home soil!

The Group report that the day was a great success, featuring one-to-one interviews, photo opportunities and group Q&A’s. Attendees of the event each received a signed photograph of Sir Stirling, press pack regarding ‘Safe and Sound’ and their photos taken with the legend on the day. The WMS Group were thrilled with the turnout and wish to thank their guests for attending.
