The Chevrolet Spark is a ball of energy on four wheels

sparkA practical five-door with a sporty glint in its eye – it can only be the new Chevrolet Spark.

Few models are quite as eye-catching as the Spark. With a wide choice of body colours, you can make sure that your car turns other drivers an envious shade of green. The latest update to the model has really enhanced the design, adding a strong dual-port front grille and completely redesigned headlights. It’s a five-door model, but the rear handles have been cleverly disguised to give it the feel of an athletic three-door.

Somewhat surprisingly, on the inside there’s stretching space for up to five adults, along with full air conditioning. The tinted windows add a bit more privacy to the cabin, so your backseat passengers can sing along to the radio without being spotted. Chevrolet has based the dashboard for the Spark on the equivalent for a motorbike, creating an easy-to-read display that won’t distract the driver. Switches and buttons are exactly where you need them to be, and handy storages spaces can be found throughout the cabin.

Take a look under the bonnet of the Spark, and you’ll find one of three Chevrolet engines designed specifically for the car. Whether you pick a 1.0-litre or a 1.2-litre, 0-60 is no more than 15.5 seconds and usually quicker. With up to 56.5 MPG combined, the model is also pretty frugal with fuel.

On top of the dashing style, impressive space and reliable performance, the Spark also claims one of the best safety ratings in its class. Six airbags, ABS and anti-lock brakes, ISOFIX child seat attachments and front fog lights are just some of the standard features throughout the car.

If you’re lightning-quick, you can head over to Baylis Chevrolet to test drive the new Spark today. They’re in Gloucester and Cheltenham so, no matter which side of the M5 you’re on, you’ll be able to experience this fab and family-friendly hatchback for yourself. Call, visit, or make an enquiry through their website to find out more.
