At the recent New York Motor Show, the Nissan owned Infiniti manufacturer released the pricing of their new luxury hybrid sports saloon, the Infiniti Q50.
Starting at $36,450 (£23,795*) for the 3.7-litre V6 diesel model, the base model will be up against stiff competition from the BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4, with the hybrid engine based model priced at $43,700 (£28,528*).
Both versions of the model will be offered with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive at an additional cost, and feature Infiniti’s new Direct Adaptive Steering technology and Active Lane Control.
“From world’s first technologies to unmatched levels of connectivity and personalization, the 2014 Q50 sports sedan is a bold example of Infiniti’s future brand direction,” said Infiniti Americas Vice President Ben Poore.
The Infiniti Q50 is set to replace the marques current G37 saloon model when it launches in Northern America in the summer.
