Gingery & Furry – New Meerkat campaign for comparethemarket.com

The UK price comparison website comparethemarket.com are launching a new ad campaign were Aleksandr Orlov, the now famous meerkat, finally meets silly ginger angry trouser man (AKA Maurice Wigglethorpe-Throom – played by comedian Robert Webb)!

The advertisements featuring the meerkat’s first aired back in 2009 and they have grown in popularity ever since. In fact the characters have proved so popular that from July 2011 any customer purchasing car, home or pet insurance via comparethemarket.com receives a cuddly meerkat toy!
